Hotel Klastrom
Hotel Klastrom occupies part of a former Carmelite monastery from the 18th century on Zechmeister utca, in the baroque old town of Győr. It is a mainstream hotel, listed as gay-friendly; earlier claims that it caters specifically to LGBTQ+ guests are not supported.
The building's thick walls and cloister setting are the main character, and Google reviews average 4.3 from about 1,150 ratings. The old-town squares and the riverbank where the Rába meets the Mosoni-Duna are close by. Győr is about 1.5 hours from Budapest and Vienna by train.

Very nice and cozy. My daughter and I only spent one night here, but we will definitely come back when we are passing by again.
