CULTUR / RIOT (formerly TABU)

CULTUR / RIOT, previously called TABU, is a recurring queer club night in Galway city centre, not a permanent bar. It has been held at Cuba, the nightclub on Prospect Hill by Eyre Square, with queer DJs and performers and a young crowd. Nights run on irregular dates and venues can change, so check event listings before you plan around it. Galway has no full-time gay bar, and club nights like this make up most of its queer nightlife outside Pride week.
