Company, a bear bar that opened in 2014, sits in a basement on Piazza Manfredo Fanti in Esquilino, close to Termini and Piazza Vittorio. The space is low‑lit and smells of stale beer and old wood. A few stools line the counter, and a darkroom and a smoking area sit on the side. The crowd is mostly bears and their admirers, along with other gay men, and most of them are locals. The calendar spins around themed nights that keep the vibe fresh. Open Thursday to Sunday, 9 pm to 3–5 am, Saturday the last night. Prices stay in Rome’s mid‑range bracket. A short walk leads to the bars around San Giovanni if you want to keep the night going.
