The Rosendale

you have to ring a bell every time you enter to the Hotel. The Room was not very clean, there were several spots on the carpet as well as dirty spots on the frame of the bed. Ventilation in the bathroom was broken and the worst was the Room for Events below my room. On a Saturday they had a party going on till 02:00 at night and my bed was shaking cause of the loud music. I was asking if it’s possible to regulate the music a little bit on employee just said it’s just one more hour left. On a Thursday they startet the music on 22:00 again and I could literally hear the people talking to each other. I went downstairs again and the same employee just answered on my complaint that the Musik and noises will end earlier than on that Saturday. At the day I checked out the guy at the reception table charged me 45€ for some laundry I gave them (for me it’s just super expensive compared to other hotels, and I’m traveling a lot out of business reasons). On my request for a discount on this laundry bill they told me it’s not possible. In the end they are not willed to satisfy guests like it should be in a Hotel.

A great place. I've been to events hosted by The Rosendale several times, and they're always incredibly well-organized!

No parking

A lovely hotel in a very central location, walking distance to the station, with cheap parking. The room was nice. Breakfast was good, with tasty bread, but I missed a fried egg. Tea and coffee are served fresh...delicious. Friendly staff.
