London Pub has been Oslo's main gay bar since 1979. It is on C.J. Hambros plass in the city centre, a few minutes from Karl Johans gate. It is a pub more than a club: two floors, pool table, jukebox and DJ nights at weekends. It draws gay men of every age, plus lesbians and friends. It opens at 15:00 daily, closes at 01:00, and stays open until 03:00 on Fridays and Saturdays. Prices are mid-range for Norway, which is still expensive by most standards. It is busiest from late evening at weekends and during Oslo Pride in late June.

I came back again today for the first time in almost 1 year, not feeling comfortable. Left after 2.5 heavy hours :( I can't have it like that, being afraid, I don't dare to sit outside either. I have someone there who won't give his name, he follows me to the bathroom and forces me to have involuntary sex. And I ask him to stay far away from me. I don't feel safe.
