Tyven

Tyven, at Dronningens gate 11 in Midtbyen, is a bar and event space that has been open since 2018. It isn't a gay bar as such, but Visit Norway's guide to LGBTIQ+ meeting places calls it "a very important queer hangout in Trondheim", and since the city has no dedicated gay bar, this is where many queer locals end up. DJs play most nights, and the kitchen serves a kebab menu called Kebabaluba. Per tyventrondheim.no it opens Wednesday and Thursday 18:00–01:30, Friday 16:00–03:30, Saturday 18:00–03:30 and Sunday 16:00–00:30, and it is closed Monday and Tuesday.
