Tr3s is a gay bar on Rua Ruben A. Leitão in Príncipe Real, Lisbon's main gay neighbourhood. People come for the cocktails: caipirinhas in several versions (classic, caipiroska, strawberry, passion fruit) and a long gin list. There is a happy hour, and theme parties run through the year. It opens every day at 18:00 and closes at 02:00, or 03:00 on Fridays and Saturdays. It is a good early stop before the later bars and clubs nearby, and it is busiest from about 23:00 at weekends.

Every time I go to Lisbon, whether for work or vacation, I always go to this bar. It's very friendly, pleasant, and the staff is cordial. It's great for a drink alone or with friends, and it's a great atmosphere for making new friends.

To be honest, they weren't very friendly. We asked if we could sit outside and they said no, even though there were other people on the terrace. We wanted to order a second drink, but the two waiters were chatting and serving their friends, so we left.
