Control is a low‑key alternative club just off Calea Victoriei in Bucharest. Inside, you’ll find a bar, a small terrace, and a calendar that swings between live gigs and DJ sets. It isn’t marketed as a gay bar, but it’s openly gay‑friendly and has hosted some of the city’s most‑attended queer parties, drawing a young, arty crowd. Those queer nights aren’t on a set schedule, so a quick look at Control’s Facebook page or website is the only way to know when they’re happening. On any other night the room fills with a mix of indie and electronic fans, all looking for a decent sound system and a place to linger. Romania’s social climate leans conservative, so keep a low profile on the street after hours; once you’re inside, the vibe stays relaxed.

They had an event tonight, free entry, entrance fee =))). The event has nothing to do with what is written on the website. It was a fashion launch where both Sucarov and Diana Sar were invited. At 10:30 PM Diana Sar was playing music and she was the only one who played music. Absolutely embarrassing, I won't come again.

A really great club in Bucharest. Fantastic lineup on Saturday night. Three areas with DJs: a main area, an outdoor/open bar with a DJ, and a terrace. Cool style, relaxed crowd. As a lover of electronic dance music, it had everything I could wish for.
