Casal Lambda is an LGBTQ+ community centre and association founded in Barcelona in 1976, during the transition to democracy after Franco. It is one of the oldest LGBTQ+ organisations in Spain. Its centre on Carrer de Verdaguer i Callís in Sant Pere, near the Palau de la Música, houses a library and archive, and it runs support services, youth groups and cultural activities. Office hours are weekdays from 10:00 to 20:00. Visitors interested in the history of the Catalan LGBTQ+ movement can contact them about the archive or check their site for talks and events. It is a community space, not a bar or social club.
