關於此地 Why Not

Why Not is a small basement dance bar on Calle de San Bartolomé in Chueca, open every night and running for decades. The music is Spanish and international pop, the crowd is a mix of gay men, lesbians and their friends, and the room is usually shoulder to shoulder by 01:00 at weekends. It opens at 22:00 and closes around 03:30, or 04:00 on Friday and Saturday. Drinks are cheap by Madrid club standards and there is often a cover with a drink at peak times. It suits a late, loud end to a Chueca night rather than a quiet drink; expect a queue on weekends.
