Old Castle Green is a small independent pub at 46 Gloucester Lane, tucked behind Old Market Street. It's a mixed pub rather than a gay bar, but Bristol Pride and Visit Bristol both list it among the city's LGBTQ+ social venues, and it puts on quizzes, cabaret and themed nights. Locals come for the real ale and the beer garden. The same team took over the nearby Coach & Horses in 2025.
