Artist Residence Bristol

Stayed in The Lookout which is lovely as an idea; spiral suitcase leading to a lovely loft and big outdoor space overlooking the whole of Bristol. Great mini bar selections, really nice service from mgmt in the restaurant. Location is a bit away from the main areas, still easy to get around. But - that the room itself located near a waste pipe of some sort so the whole room smells subtly and constantly of poop. It’s noted in other reviews and we can concur, it does have a pop smell throughout the whole room.

Ended up staying here when another hotel cancelled our booking last minute. I don’t think we will be booking anywhere else in future. Great location, lovely quirky rooms and staff who were great despite checking in about 10:30 on a Saturday night. Would recommend over the chain that let us down.

Sabri was honestly more than just a night host — he was the highlights of our experience. From the moment we arrived, he made us feel incredibly welcome and completely at ease. We had a late check-in, and Sabri was so kind, patient and understanding about it. Nothing felt like too much trouble for him. He was extremely knowledgeable, helpful and genuinely cared about making sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. He has such a warm and friendly manner and is an absolute credit to the hotel — a complete star! The rooms were beautiful, spotlessly clean, tidy and very comfortable. The shower was amazing too, and everything felt really well looked after. A huge thank you to Sabri for going above and beyond and making our stay feel that little bit more special. It’s rare to come across someone so genuinely kind and attentive. We would absolutely stay again and hope to see Sabri when we return!
