關於此地 Shakedown
Shakedown is a casual burger counter on Teviot Place, across from the University of Edinburgh's central campus and a short walk from the Grassmarket. The menu is burgers, fries, chicken and milkshakes, ordered quickly and eaten in or taken away. It is a gay-friendly mainstream place, not a gay venue.
Prices sit in the cheapest tier, which is why it draws a lot of students. Reviews rate the burgers and chips highly (4.9 from about 280 reviews), with the occasional complaint about waits at peak times. Handy for a cheap meal before heading to the bars around the Old Town.
