"Suspect Organisation"🚩 which shows the usual self serving virtue signalling of a badly managed charity that believes it can do no wrong. Red Flag🚩. Very self serving mindset. Poor on data protection, poor on such issues as equality for none Lgbetc groups such as the disabled. Show siege mentality when challenged blaming their victim. Red Flag 🚩. Funding providers should review them fully as the data protection issues and safeguarding failures are very significant. Their feedback to police on victims and contact is not to be treated as accurate and is misleading.🚩 They have a zero tolerance policy which they impose upon beneficiaries and service users and which they throw at people defensively and fail it have an equivalent zero tolerance policy to ensure the same beneficiaries and service users are not abused. 🚩All the red flags of a baddly managed and improperly supervised charity with a siege mentality. Conspicuously, when challenged and apology is absent. The staff want to push the abused beneficiary into impenetrable and opaque procedure and policy rather than address the failures and move forward. Trustee details are absent from the website as it seems they are unable to recruite quality people to oversee the charity, else they see no reason to have up-to-date or valid web content.🚩 The public are not reason enough to maintain a valid public image. Red Flag again. They are disorganised internally with employees assuming beneficiaries have knowledge of the internal disorganisation and poor communication. This internal failure when uncovered is not addressed but taken negatively. Another massive Red Flag that the management have no capacity to address. Not sure that they can be saved. The issues are too deep. Nice idea for an organisation - so poorly executed and not up to basic standards.

I was a volunteer for the Intercom Trust when they held coffee mornings on Saturdays and Tuesdays on New Bridge Street back in 2009/2010. And due to an allegation of physical abuse made by my then-ex-boyfriend and his accomplice, the staff didn't ask me for my side of the events. One of the main volunteers there started speaking to me as if I were poorly educated. I even got blocked by them on Twitter/X for writing this review about my experience with the place.

I went there, it's says open till four,it was closed no body around. No signs to say that it was there Rung the No on screen, eventually some one answered it saying that you need an appointment here.put me on hold for at least five minutes to find someone but couldn't. Told me to call the helpline for information. So I asked him for the details for the helpline, and am still waiting over two weeks ago. Very disinterested in my wellbeing as a transgender couldn't get any information from them at all as an organisation, it's a shambles. Suzy
