The honest summary: Córdoba has no gay hotel or gay guesthouse. Same-sex couples book ordinary hotels here without any issue; Argentina has had equal marriage since 2010. The useful question is location: stay in the Centro, Güemes or Nueva Córdoba and you can walk to the bars, saunas and Pride route.
Where to stay
- Centro and La Cañada: closest to X-Bar, Tom Bar, both saunas and the Jesuit Block. Busy by day, quieter at night.
- Güemes: bohemian barrio with bars and the weekend craft fair on the Paseo de las Artes; mostly hostels and small places.
- Nueva Córdoba: the student district, next to Parque Sarmiento and the clubs on Dámaso Larrañaga. Lively and noisy at weekends.
- Azur Real, San Jerónimo 257, Centro. Boutique hotel with a rooftop terrace and outdoor jacuzzi; 4.7 on Google from about 2,400 reviews.
- Windsor Hotel & Tower, Buenos Aires 214, Centro. Large, well-reviewed (4.5 from about 4,200) and a few blocks from Plaza San Martín.
- NH Córdoba Urbano, Marcelo T. de Alvear 363. Chain four-star by La Cañada, across the street from X-Bar.
- Y111, Av. Hipólito Yrigoyen 111, Nueva Córdoba. Modern, 4.6 from about 3,800 reviews.
- Howard Johnson La Cañada, Av. Figueroa Alcorta 20. Mid-budget chain hotel on the canal, a short walk from Güemes.
- Sol de Piedra, Obispo Trejo 628. Apartment suites with a small spa, good for longer stays.
- Virreinato, Av. Duarte Quirós 167. Small boutique hotel near the colonial centre.
- Faz Hostel, General Paz 1539. The best-reviewed hostel we list (4.9 from about 1,400).
- Book early for Pride weekend (Saturday 21 November 2026); the Centro fills up.
- Nueva Córdoba rooms facing the street can be loud on Friday and Saturday nights.
- The airport (COR) is about 10 km north of the centre, 25–35 minutes by taxi.
Hotels we list
We don't label any of these as gay-friendly, because none of them makes that claim and we have no source for it. All of them are ordinary, well-located options.
