Nuestro Secreto

Went to Nuestro Secreto just to grab a quick lunch, but was blown away by the food and service. We’ve been ordering empanadas and entraña (outside skirt steak) all around town, and these were BY FAR the best. (I know that’s a bold statement with how many amazing food places around). I had to ask the chef for pro tips on the steak. She happily shared how she prepared it sous vide, and showed me the leña and salting. Tender, buttery, beefy… all a perfect entraña. Everything else was on point too - the grilled Camembert and prosciutto plate, the chimichurri, even the perfect crunch of the salt flakes…. DEFINITELY going back here next time in Buenos Aires.

The place is divine. The bread basket is impeccable. They greet you with a little empanada filled with butternut squash and cheese. We shared several appetizers (provolone cheese, mushrooms, grilled cauliflower, and humita). The service is attentive, as are the details (handwashing, blankets, heaters). For coffee, they bring out some truly Argentinian treats to enjoy.

Everything was spectacular! The place is beautiful and the service was excellent. Guido served us and stood out for his kindness and constant attention! I'm celiac and he was very attentive at all times. It's so nice to go out to eat and be served like that! Thank you, Guido!

This is our third time going, and I don't think it's the same anymore. The first time, even the wines were included; the second time, years later, they weren't, and now I found the variety of meats small, actually only two. They lacked at least two other options for those who don't want meats with so much fat. The service is good but not super attentive, as we had to make a note a few times to order something. Make a reservation!

All the food was incredible, I highly recommend the ribeye steak, it was spectacular. The place was also a 10/10, but Guido's service was especially noteworthy, he was very friendly and attentive.

The quality of the meat is on another level. The cooking times, appetizers, and service were all excellent. I went for a bachelor/bachelorette party with 20 people. Everything was impeccable.

Great steak experience! Lovely greenhouse structure. I would definitely come again.

I'm visiting from Los Angeles and invited family out to lunch. They told me that they like fish so I wanted to treat them to the best place I could find in Google Maps. Nuestro Secreto did not disappoint. The environment and service was exactly what you would expect from a world-class establishment like the Four Seasons. Immaculate, picturesque, and perfect in every way. A truly unforgettable experience. We arrived just after 12 noon, which apparently is too early to eat lunch in Argentina, so we did have to wait a bit in the hotel lobby as the restaurant didn't open until 12:30 pm. We didn't mind though as the lobby was beautiful and welcoming. The doorman approached us to let us know we could proceed and guided us to the first floor (2nd floor for those used to the American way of counting floors). We past their gorgeous patio and outdoor barbeque to get to the restaurant, where we saw two huge racks of beef ribs being cooked. I was tempted to order those but we were there for the fish and I already had plans to attend a parrillada (BBQ) the next day. They had a set menu at a very affordable price but we decided to order multiple dishes from the regular menu to share (see full list below) as there were just so many amazing looking items that we wanted to try. Although it's not common in Argentina to share dishes, they politely accommodated our requests. I'm addition to the traditional bread basket, we were provided multiple dipping sauces and a unique sweet empanada each while we waited for the food. All of the dishes were truly amazing in every way, including taste, presentation, and timeliness. The desserts were so beautiful we felt bad eating them. Like works of art. We ordered coffee with the desserts and they came with a complimentary box of sweets as well. If you're in the lookout for a perfect meal, this is where to go.
