Hotel Land Plaza La Plata

Upon arriving at the hotel, reception asked for my ID and credit card. They copied my card details in front of me, claiming it was the only way to confirm the reservation. I found this practice highly questionable and unsafe, as it involves exposing sensitive financial information without a clear explanation or any alternative that would reassure the guest. What's most concerning is that, after this incident, unauthorized purchases began appearing on my account. This discrepancy has caused me enormous worry and distrust regarding the handling of my banking information. I find it unacceptable that a guest should be subjected to this type of situation upon checking into a hotel. The security of personal and financial data should be a top priority. I strongly recommend exercising caution when handing over your credit card at this establishment and inquiring beforehand about the security measures they use to protect their guests' information. My experience was extremely negative, and I hope that the seriousness of these situations becomes more apparent.

WARNING! They only accept reservations with credit card information, and they made a purchase on my account today, October 11, 2026, through Ticket Hoy. When I checked in, they told me my bank details would be secure and that the transaction would be canceled upon checkout. Of course, I canceled my card today. I SUGGEST YOU DO NOT GO TO THIS HOTEL UNTIL THEY CHANGE THEIR RESERVATION PROCESS. Someone is scamming people with their credit card information! WARNING!

Excellent

Good hotel and service. Close to the bus terminal, although its distance from downtown La Plata lowers its rating slightly.
