Novotel Santa Cruz de la Sierra

Terrible service. We booked a bridal package in advance and the room wasn't ready. The staff was completely unhelpful and refused to provide any information when asked. Absolutely not recommended.

I booked a service and none of the staff were able to provide good service. I didn't get the room I reserved, there was zero professionalism and seriousness, and the customer service was absolutely terrible. I don't recommend them.

The rooms were good and clean. The pool was also nice on the day we used it. The breakfast is very extensive, and the dinner is also good and affordable. The only thing we found was that the music in the lobby was very loud and the music selection was not appropriate for a hotel. Additionally, we found it a pity that the staff behind the bar and in the restaurant hardly spoke any English. The hotel seems to focus primarily on business guests, and we had expected there to be English-speaking staff among the restaurant employees. The gym is well-equipped with sufficient and good Technogym equipment. All in all, a good hotel for the price you pay.

I can't comment on the location because I'm not familiar enough with the area. The rooms are small, poorly lit, and the pillows are not recommended. I'm currently in the lobby two hours before my check-out time because I had to leave my room urgently, escorted by hotel staff, due to disturbing noises and security issues on the 9th floor. The presence of a supposedly sports delegation, who appeared to be drunk and agitated, made it unsafe to remain in the room area. There were numerous empty bottles of alcoholic beverages scattered in the hallway. I decided to leave my room when they started banging on my door. In my opinion, the hotel staff didn't handle the situation well, as it took them more than an hour to resolve it. Breakfast and restaurant services were also affected for the same reason. It's surprising that the number of guests has overwhelmed them, making it impossible to provide even basic quality service. I only received apologies from a manager on duty for minor but similar incidents that occurred during my six-day stay, but no intervention regarding this serious matter I just described. It's 5 a.m. now, and I'm still hearing "music" from the lobby. A nightmare. I will clearly not return, nor do I recommend it. What's most infuriating is the inaction of those in charge. They in no way represent the characteristic hospitality of the people of Santa Cruz, which they ironically proclaim on a mural in the reception area.
