The room is comfortable, spacious, and rustic in style. It has a whirlpool tub and a powerful shower. It has a beautiful view of the mountain ranges. The service is very good, impeccable cleanliness, well-trained staff, and friendly and helpful personnel. The guides are great! Paradise view, stunning nature, sustainable and reliable water treatment system. Close to the central village.

The best experience imaginable! It's not cheap, but everything you receive in return is worth far more than what you pay. The facilities, the staff, the food and service, the guides and activities, the bar, etc., all superb.

Our stay at Explora Atacama was absolutely unforgettable. This hotel is a true oasis of peace in the middle of the Atacama Desert, while still offering everything an adventurous traveler could dream of. From the moment you arrive, you feel completely taken care of. There is so much attention to detail that it makes the entire experience feel incredibly special and unique. What stood out most was the staff. Every single person we met was warm, attentive, and genuinely caring. The food was exceptional throughout our stay, and the restaurant team made every meal memorable. DJ, Maga and Sebastien were especially fantastic and took such great care of us, along with the rest of the wonderful restaurant staff. The guides were also extremely professional and made every excursion an amazing experience. Matteo was incredibly helpful, and we had some of our favorite tours with Erick, whose knowledge about the stars made the astronomy experiences truly unforgettable. And a special mention to Nacho at the bar, who makes the best cocktails imaginable. Overall, everything about this place is extraordinary. It’s one of those rare destinations that combines luxury, adventure, relaxation, and genuine hospitality perfectly. An experience not to be missed.

Stayed during the off-season in May. Overall amazing experience with knowledgeable guides, delicious food and excellent service from the hotel staff. Explorations: Exceptional. Guides were knowledgeable and were able to tailor a plan based on our ability level, interests and altitude acclimatization progression Food: Delicious. Great selection of menu items and meticulous preparation. Fresh fruits and juices were much appreciated. Rooms: Slightly dated but functional. Most of the time is spent outside so not too bad Service: Excellent, especially from the front desk staff who were very accommodating and responsive to our request. Thanks!

Hassle free deeply immersive experience. Explorations felt like us entering into a closely guarded secret, allowing us to discover wildlife up close, impossible green paradise and huge dunes. Food was very good during our meals and the ever ready bar was great in between! Kudos to the team for remembering small details and making off menu items where possible. Planning my next travels with explora already!

If you want a luxury (or even just nice) experience (particularly given the price point), DO NOT stay here. The rooms are dilapidated and extremely dated (there is a lot of enhancing going on with the photos on the website). They also do not have AC. It was impossible to sleep. The food was mediocre, at best. So many items were dry, flavorless, or questionably fresh. The service was extremely variable (some really sweet servers in the restaurant and some really nice guides; but also some terrible guides who really couldn’t care less about your experience (they hire third parties to do all the expeditions) and we also found the on-site management to be very passive aggressive and really weird energy). There’s another new hotel nearby that we had friends stay at who had a MUCH better experience - it’s called Unai Atacama

I stayed at Explora Atacama with my girlfriend for 5 nights in March. We were absolutely blown away. The food is incredible, the excursions are amazing (and what’s really nice is that you’re always in small groups - never more than 6 - 8 people), and the hotel and absolutely beautiful. The staff are nothing short of incredible; everyone makes you feel at home and goes out of their way for you. The guides are unbelievably knowledgeable. I really cannot say enough good things about Explora Atacama.

Wonderful hotel, but the staff are sometimes very attentive and other times quite rude… the experiences are excellent, with very knowledgeable, attentive, and friendly guides (they're freelancers)! The food is delicious, although by the fifth day they start repeating the menu from four days prior… but overall, very good! When choosing the experiences, they don't provide much information, and they've made some mistakes, such as scheduling two hikes for the same day…

Diego Sepulveda is the super star and not sure if this hotel can operate without him. He is everywhere and helps everyone David is amazing as well Juliana was my guide and she was amazing, kind, helpful, always made sure that I was safe and very knowledgeable. Great asset to Explora House keeping people, an elderly lady and a very young woman here been very helpful Restaurant staff, Both Frans, Nico, Gabriel, Isabel and others were great Driver Esteban is very kind, safe and helpful
