I will never stay at the W Bogota again. For a luxury brand, this property fails across the board. To start, the service is sub-par at best. I explicitly confirmed an early check-in for 12:00 PM noon a full week in advance. Despite this, when I arrived at 2:00 PM—two hours after my requested time—my room still wasn't ready, and I was forced to wait. When I finally got in, I noticed the hotel felt noticeably dirty and poorly maintained. To make matters worse, the staff showed zero care for basic hospitality; the doorman never once opened the door for us or offered any assistance with our luggage. I asked them to prepare the room with something special to help my fiance relax after a 36 hour travel. They provided bath salts snd scented aromatherapy oil for the bath but our room only had a shower. Epic fail! I suffered from altitude sickness during the trip. When I asked the staff for coca tea—a standard, basic remedy available everywhere in the city—they flatly told me they couldn't accommodate the request. What happened to the “Whatever/Whenever” guarantee? The property is also in a less than ideal location. There are so many significantly better hotels in Bogota situated in better areas for a fraction of what this place charges. Save your money and your sanity—stay somewhere else. As a good elite Bonvoy member this tops my lust as most disappointing stay @ a Marriott property.

I was robbed at the hotel. The staff were always very friendly, but some valuable belongings went missing from my room. Don't leave anything out.

Great stay at the W - special shout out to Oscar and Fabian from concierge who made our stay even better. Both are some of the nicest staff we have met at a Marriott property. Thanks for a great stay!
