Hotel Torre de Cali Plaza

What a great experience!

Excellent insurance

Excellent location, excellent service

The room was huge, city view 10/10, but the bathrooms were ugly and old, with broken toilets; even the bathtub was painted over. It desperately needs a major renovation and a boost to become a luxury hotel again. The room itself is very spacious. As for the hotel, there's nothing to do here besides the gym. There's no terrace or rooftop café that's part of the hotel. Such an iconic and representative place in Cali should have its biggest attraction: the view from the top. The hotel doesn't offer that. It needs a terrace area, a jacuzzi, something appealing. The breakfast was okay, but there was little variety—just scrambled eggs and a leftover meat dish. Additionally, I made my reservation through Agoda and paid in advance, and the booking confirmation shows that I paid the 19% VAT. The hotel then tried to charge me VAT again, which is absurd.
