Parque Neptuno is a small public park in the Cercado de Lima, next to the Parque de la Exposición. Older cruising guides list it as a low-key meeting place for gay men, but we found no independent source from 2024–26 that describes it as active, so treat it as history rather than a tip. Same-sex relations are legal in Peru, but sex in a public place can be prosecuted, and police and Serenazgo patrol the historic centre. The bigger risk is robbery: central Lima sees muggings and phone snatching after dark. If you want to meet men, Lima's men-only saunas and the apps are the safer options.
