The Copper Owl is a live-music and cocktail bar on Fort Street in downtown Victoria. It is a mixed, mainstream venue rather than a gay bar, but it is one of the regular homes for the city's queer events, most notably the alternative drag night Death by Drag, alongside DJs, bands and dance nights.
What's on varies a lot from night to night, so check the bar's event listings before heading over if you are going for drag. It is a small room and popular shows fill up.
