Mi Cayito is a small sandy stretch within Playas del Este, the run of beaches east of Havana. For decades it has been Cuba's best-known gay beach, an informal place where gay locals and visitors gather on weekends. There are no bars or clubs here in the usual sense, just sand, sea and whatever drinks and snacks local vendors bring. You'll need a taxi or rented car from central Havana, roughly 30-40 minutes. Weekends are busiest. Facilities are basic, so bring water, shade and cash. Keep valuables to a minimum, and be cautious about who you leave with, since hustling is common.

Beautiful beach near Havana My little cay is one of the most beautiful beaches in Cuba. Visit the gay beach! The people aren't the friendliest, but who cares? The important thing is to have a good time and enjoy yourself. 100% recommended
