TOM'S Leather Bar is a long-standing men-only gay leather bar at Insurgentes Sur 357, on the edge of Condesa in the Hipódromo area. The interior is dark and gothic, with go-go dancers, some nude, on stage, themed nights and a darkroom at the back. Drinks are reasonably priced, and it gets busy late on weekends with a mix of locals and visitors. Google reviews average 4.4 from over 1,100.
You don't need full leather to get in, but dress the part on fetish nights. Keep your phone and wallet close in the darkroom, and use a registered taxi or ride-hailing app to get home. The Zona Rosa gay bars are about 10 minutes away by car.

Super quiet on a Thursday night, and it must be the only bar with dynamic pricing, you never know what they’ll charge you or how many drinks your cover will actually include. It all seems very arbitrary. A little transparency would go a long way. Until then, I’ve taken the guesswork out of my evenings by simply not going anymore.
