Baños Central

Baños Central is a traditional public steam bath on Avenida Joaquín Antonio Peñaloza, in the El Paseo area of San Luis Potosí. It is not a gay sauna in the European sense. It is a working Mexican vapor with steam rooms and private cabins and a mixed clientele, but it has long been known as a place where gay and bisexual men meet, often in quieter daytime hours. Expect a no-frills, low-key setting rather than a party. Discretion matters here, since not everyone there is there for the same reason. Bring your own towel and flip-flops, and check opening times before you go.
