Came here for a quick three night getaway after a busy week in Chicago. I really didn’t do much research before booking it, I just trusted their small luxury hotels affiliation, and expected this to be a luxury hotel. But I was wrong, the style of the rooms is really weird, very cheap materials used, and furniture is scraped and chaffed everywhere… they call it eclectic, but it really is just trashy. How can you have fake wood laminate floors in a luxury hotel? The location is all right when you want to be in the middle of everything, but it’s also quite noisy at night. For the price paid, it’s definitely up not up to the standards of a luxury hotel.

I was blown away by the decor in this place.We had an amazing stay! The service was excellent and the staff were helpful throughout our trip. Our room was absolutely gorgeous and had such a unique, relaxing vibe. Our favorite part was the outdoor shower area—it’s so cute and zen. It did need some maintenance, as the water was spraying in different directions and could use repair or replacement, but it didn’t take away from how much we enjoyed the space. Polly at the front desk was especially wonderful. She took her time answering all of our questions and gave us great recommendations for things to do and places to eat, which we really appreciated. We stayed for my boyfriend’s birthday, and the hotel went above and beyond by setting up balloons and chocolate covered strawberries in the room while we were out as a surprise. The outdoor lighting in our area could use some new bulbs but overall this hotel is perfect for a couples getaway. We would definitely come back. Thank you for such a memorable stay!

The room we were assigned was directly above the kitchen, and we could hear the staff coming in at 6 am. The noise was excessive. The hotel itself is spectacular and beautiful; this was our only problem.

This is an amazing hotel. From the moment you walk in you are treated like royalty. The rooms are classy and the amineties are great. Location is excellent, close to the beach, and has numerous establishments in walking distance. I would recommend this place if you're looking for an upscale hotel while visiting San Juan

Wife had an amazing stay at the Boutique OLive where she was able to utilize both facilities right across the street for dining hot tub and pool. Warm and welcoming staff. She will be back!

I have never in my 35 years of traveling seen a hotel go down so badly. I have stayed here several times but the last two times the service could not be worse. It has gone from one of my favorite hotels and one I recommended several times to one that I would NEVER recommend. The staff needs to be replaced quickly.
