關於此地 The Midway Café
The Midway Café is a small rock bar and live-music room at 3496 Washington Street in Jamaica Plain, open since 1987. Most nights it's local bands, punk shows and DJs for a mixed crowd. It isn't a full-time gay bar.
It's on this list for Queeraoke, one of Boston's longest-running queer nights, held every Thursday from 8:30pm with a small cover (Boston Calendar listings run through autumn 2026). The Midway also has a long history of dyke and queer dance nights. Drinks are cheap. Green Street on the Orange Line is a short walk.

Absolutely horrible. I arrive at 11:35pm and already being shutdown. Couldn’t even get one drink and they were supposed to close at 2am. Not the correct way to run things.

One of the last remaining bar/venues in the Boston area. A wide variety of shows ranging from karaoke to comedy to every musical genre. Drinks are surprisingly affordable compared to most other bars and venues.
