CR Pride

CR Pride is the volunteer-run 501(c)(3) behind Cedar Rapids PrideFest. The festival takes place in late June at NewBo City Market (1100 3rd St SE) in the New Bohemia district, with live music, drag, food vendors and stalls from local groups and businesses. Outside festival season it puts on smaller meetings and community events across the year, and it works as a contact point for LGBTQ+ people in eastern Iowa. Dates change each year and are posted at crprideia.com.
