Madrigal is an unexpected gem amongst the many restaraunts dotted around Columbia, a place you definitely will NOT want to overlook. The menu is small, but focused and very reasonably priced for the quality, with the lamb shank being a standout item. There is a solid choice of wines, and if you're unsure of what to get the waiters will happily assist you in picking a good choice. The atmosphere is very cozy and pleasant, as are the staff. If you're looking for a wonderful Italian dining experience, you've found your place. My wife and I will absolutely be back when we are in Columbia again.

So many wonderful things to say about this restaurant. Columbia is very lucky to have a restaurant like this. We caught them just before the kitchen closed and didn't even realize it until we left because we were welcomed with such open arms. Sorry, guys! The restaurant is cozy and unassuming, making it very clear that their priorities are exactly where they should be- on the quality of food and service. The dishes are unique and well-executed, exceeding our hopes! I hear the menu changes often so we will be back soon- and not close y'all down next time!

Cozy atmosphere and great food and service.

Food here is the star of the show as one would expect. Salad was very fresh, flavorful and creative. Pizza was delicious! We didn’t drink this night, but had a great wine list. It is reservation only, which was kind of nice knowing we had a table waiting for us. Our server was a little arrogant, but didn’t let it affect our night. Highly recommend for date night!
