Mr. Friendly's New Southern Cafe

Katie T. did a wonderful job on service. The food was great and her charm to me and my mom made us feel important and comfortable. She was fast with drinks and the food as well. It was a good mom and son date. If you go hear tou have to ask for Katie she's awesome! Thank you!

Absolutely delicious, great service. Simply excellent

Everyone was so nice and the food was delicious!

Good food, great atmosphere.

Bartender Courtney very nice to me and my daughter (1st yr at USC). Food was exceptional. I made a reservation for when my wife is in town to bring daughter home in a few weeks. We found our go to place for the next three years. Just overall wonderful experience. went back in Sept 2026, it was absolutely as great as we remember. attentive. polite even fun staff without being over bearing. this place is simply IT! this is the place every time we come in town, period. try it and you will be hooked.

The food tasted absolutely delicious and the plate presentation was great. Had the Seared Salmon Croquettes with the stone grits and collard greens. Everything was cooked perfectly and full of flavor. Nice atmosphere. Music was a bit louder than I prefer, but doesn’t take away from such a good lunch place. 10/10 recommend.

I havent been here in a long time but the service, food and drinks were as good as I remembered. They are good for large parties. A lot of out of town visitors consider this a must go to location when they are in town

I think they have a lot of regulars. It was our first time the food was good. Service was really good.

Everything was FANTASTIC! If you’re looking for dinner in 5 points this is the place!

Great place for lunch. Their hamburgers are delicious. Very attentive waiters.
