Best Western Plus Fresno Inn

The internet was extremely slow or completely non-existent during my stay. On top of that, the rooms were dirty and not properly maintained. To make matters worse, the front desk employee, Nolan, lied to me and treated me with an incredible amount of rudeness. ​Save your money and book somewhere else.

Great hotel! The room was large, clean, and cozy. The free breakfast was a surprise, you typically expect a free breakfast to be less than mediocre, but their eggs were fresh and good quality, everything was well stocked. The entire hotel was clean. No weird smells or stains, it’s the perfect spot for a quick getaway or a business trip. Best Western is always reliable, I would totally stay here again. The parking lot was clean, I felt safe leaving my car there.

I would not stay here again. This hotel is old, and not very well maintained. Our first night the air condition barely worked and the water in the shower was only one temperature, scalding hot. On our second night, they switched our rooms (2 of which we tried before but there was something wrong with those too); the one we got too seemed to be fine, but once one of us went to the restroom, we realized the handle on the inside was broken so you could not open the door. We reported it to maintenance, they told us they would fix it, they did not. The pool is hilariously small and was out of order the entire time we were there (see picture). The wallpaper in the bathrooms is literally coming off the walls (see picture). The "smart" TV in our room only barely worked. They have the weirdest and cheapest (I assume that is why) setup I have ever seen. None of the smart functions on it actually work, so I would bring a streaming stick or laptop. The wifi is too slow to do anything (1-2 mb/s). The two positive things I can say, the staff is really nice, and the breakfast was good, albeit the same each day. It is worth noting, each morning I woke up with new bug bites. I checked around the bed and all usual places and saw no evidence of bed bugs, or insects of any kind, but, it seems to uncanny to be a coincidence. The carpet is old so maybe it is something to do with that. You might stay here and not have a problem, but, I would check twice before doing so.

Customer service is great but the rooms are crap. Bed was hard, pillows flat and ac unit would not shut off and made metal grind8ng sounds all night.
