Hotel Piccadilly & Events Center

Beautiful hotel! We were happily greeted by friendly front desk ladies. We stayed in the Eastwood building and it was clean, comfortable and quiet. I always appreciate having a fridge and breakfast as well. Decent breakfast selections, including eggs, potatoes, yogurt, fruit, oatmeal, danishes, fruit juice, coffee and tea . Really nice , relaxing pool area. And we loved the restaurant! We had the vegetable paella and it was delicious! Highly recommend this hotel!

We stayed on the first floor, and unfortunately, the Wi-Fi was very poor and kept disconnecting. The lighting in the room was also very dim. The only really bright light was near the entrance, where the smoke detector is located. The smoke detector started beeping when I tried to iron a T-shirt. I really don’t understand why the ironing area is placed so close to the smoke detector in the first place. The furniture is quite old and could definitely use an update. The breakfast was edible, nothing special. When you check in, they give you a card for breakfast. Overall, the stay was okay, but the poor Wi-Fi, dim lighting, and outdated furniture made the experience less comfortable than it could have been.

They refused entry to my service animal and then tried to pull some BS excuse out of nowhere claiming my dog wasn't properly trained just to cover themselves . The short old lady at the front desk was on a power trip.Absolutely unacceptable. Do not stay here terrible place

My stay at Hotel Piccadilly was quite disappointing. Unfortunately, the overall cleanliness of the property left a lot to be desired, and the rooms did not feel well kept or sanitary. To make matters worse, the staff was unhelpful and unfriendly, especially at the front desk, where the service felt particularly cold and unwelcoming. There are much better places to stay in the area I would skip this one.

My two-night stay was very pleasant. I think the hotel is top-notch considering the price they charge, and I have absolutely no complaints about the room. Comfortable beds, hot water, great air conditioning, and—although I didn’t use the pool—it looked pretty nice. The breakfast exceeded my expectations. It’s varied, delicious, and nutritious. Last but not least, the staff was very attentive and friendly at all times.

We stayed here because the pricing was great and it was close to the wedding we were attending. As out first time in Fresno, we didn’t know what to expect, but we were very impressed with the overall stay. Although the rooms were a little outdated, it got the job done. I also loved that they provided vouchers for breakfast. I would definitely stay here again.

Disgusting rooms , reeked of cigarette smells. Staff was rude, homeless people hanging out RIGHT OUTSIDE the windows and rooms of the hotels . They were knocking on windows in the middle of the night and when I voiced my concern they told me it’s California they’re will be homeless people around : the pool is shared with the follow neighborhood hotel which also has tents and homeless showering and cleaning .

Booked here well in advance at $98. Showed up after a long day of travel to be told my reservation had been cancelled — because my card "didn't go through," and they'd "called" me once the previous morning. No voicemail. No text. No email. Nothing, despite having both on file from the booking. The room was still available… for $148. Same room, $50 more, over a payment issue they made no real effort to tell me about. Book here knowing a single unanswered call is apparently all the warning you get before they cancel and re-sell your room at a markup.

Great location right next door to airport. Room was very clean and fresh. Only wish it had an elevator, had to carrying bags up the stairs was difficult.

Hotel Piccadilly was surprisingly pleasant for the price. Don’t expect ultra-luxury, but it’s definitely above average for a budget hotel when you’re on the road. The rooms are outdated, but mine was very clean and surprisingly spacious, with plenty of room to feel comfortable rather than cramped. I’m personally pretty obsessive when it comes to cleanliness and get so icked out by some hotels that I can’t even eat in the room. I actually didn’t get that feeling here at all. The beds were very comfortable and the AC worked well, so I was able to get a good night’s rest before an important business meeting the next day. I wasn’t thrilled about having to put down a $50 deposit at check-in, since I haven’t had to do that at other hotels, but it is refundable as long as nothing is damaged. The staff was extremely kind and accommodating. The manager was especially friendly and allowed me to check out late, free of charge, after my business meeting unexpectedly ran over. There is also security patrolling the grounds, which was reassuring. The neighborhood is very quiet, and the hotel is close to a wide variety of convenience stores and restaurants, so there are plenty of options nearby. Breakfast is alright—pretty standard American hotel breakfast. It would be great if they offered a few more healthy options, such as Greek yogurt, plant-based milks, more protein choices, cheese, etc., but for a budget hotel, I may be asking for too much. Bottom line: I was pleasantly surprised by my stay and would absolutely return.
