Absolutely loved this place. It was so quiet an peaceful. The staff were nice. The place was beautiful 😍 🤩 we really enjoyed it. Will definitely recommend this place an can't wait to go back again
My boyfriend and I rarely get consecutive days off together and were surprised to be able to manage two days off in the middle of both of our busy seasons. He called in to make the reservation and the lady on the phone did not have the nicest tone when trying to book. (See edit) When we got there we weren’t sure how to check in so we walked up to the office and that same lady came out and said they do curbside check in but she would help us in the office. I tried to find online how to check in or check out but there was no information. It would definitely be nice if there was a bit more information or signage for the check-in process. Once we got through check in she had us follow her to the cabin and we met the member who would help us for the duration of our stay. This girl was extremely sweet and very helpful especially compared to the initial member who checked us in and answered the phones. She explained the butler box and how to use it and showed us everything we needed to know about the room. We then fed some ducks, enjoyed the whirlpool, ordered some food, watched many movies and played games that were complimentary with our stay. We had no issues with dirtiness of the room or water temperature. The fireplace worked and was nice for a little evening s’mores, again complimentary left in our butler box. They had multiple options of little treats, drinks, and extras you could add on. There were also many complimentary things, like the aforementioned movies and games but also; some eggs for breakfast, toiletries if you forgot them, throw blankets, and some others. The butler box was probably the highlight of the night with little surprises and treats as well as just being a really nice way to get service without necessarily having to be face-to-face. The pizza we ordered was not the greatest but they are upfront that it was made off-site and so I do not hold that to them as it was delivered when requested and no big deal. We ordered some drinks as well. They also treated us with some cheesecake! The tub was really nice as well and the bathrooms were clean and the water pressure was great. It was a kid-free, relaxing, intimate environment well-suited for couples young or old. The venue was beautiful, although the road noise was a bit loud. We genuinely enjoyed disconnecting from the world for a night. There is no wifi and cell service was a bit spotty but truly that did not affect us. The check-out process went much smoother than check in, there were signs leading you to the office but still nothing saying “check in/out here” luckily the key you get to your cabin told you to drop it off at the front desk at checkout and there was a different manager who was much nicer and emailed us a copy of the receipt with no issues. Overall, everything was a 10/10 other than the woman who took the phone call and checked us in. Can’t wait to stay for a couple days next time, a little home away from home! edit: The owner reached out personally to my boyfriend and talked through our trip and apologized for the customer service we had received. I work a customer facing job so I can totally understand that sometimes things are beyond our control and it was nice to see someone who cares so much about making things right. Very excited to come back soon, again really appreciated being able to explain what our issues were and hear their side as well!
We just had our first stay there and it was fantastic! It is so close to great restaurants and entertainment, but still tucked away so that you have loads of privacy and peace to just bird watch or enjoy a chill day in nature. The butler boxes are genius! We will definitely be staying again!
Very mind blowing place space u'll lose track of days!
Cabins were amazing and set up for romantic getaways. The customer service however, was lacking. No package upgrades were offered to us. Upon arrival we were greeted by a clearly methed out person who was almost inaudible. I felt like we were bothering her or keeping her from her next high. We ordered a pizza from a nearby restaurant through their butler box. Really awesome idea, but we were forgotten about and two hours later we called the front office where they denied forgetting about us and had our pizza a half hour later. For the money we paid I feel like we shouldn’t have been shrugged off and made to feel like a bother. Hopefully the owner looks into some new staff. We had to lock our car at night for fear of druggies stealing something. Could have been a wonderful experience.
Hello Serenity Springs Team, I recently visited Serenity Springs in Indiana for the first time and wanted to share my experience. Upon arriving, the check-in process was very smooth. You check in at the front desk while staying in your car, and the staff explains the rules before guiding you to your cabin. Once we arrived at the cabin, a staff member went over everything in the room. The cabin itself was amazing and everything started off great. I chose the room with the heart-shaped hot tub, which was very nice. The cabin also had a grill available if you want to cook, which is a great option. I also ordered the Cozy Up Package, the strawberries, and the rose petal package. The scenery throughout the property was beautiful and relaxing. I also appreciated that about every 30 minutes someone would drive around to check if guests needed anything, bring small snacks, and deliver the breakfast basket. That level of service was a nice touch. Unfortunately, there was one major issue that really affected our stay. The Cozy Up Package and the rose petal package were not set up in the room prior to our arrival. When I called about it, we were asked to take a walk while staff came in to set everything up. This unfortunately ruined the surprise I had planned for my girlfriend. It was our anniversary, and I had planned to propose to her during the setup. Because the room wasn’t prepared beforehand, the moment was lost and I ended up having to explain the plan to her. She thought I had just called to arrange it at that moment, which made the whole surprise fall apart. I was very disappointed and honestly very sad about that. Overall, the property itself is beautiful and the cabins are very nice. However, because of this experience, I don’t see myself returning anytime soon, if ever. I do appreciate the nice setting and the effort from the staff during our stay. I just wish the special packages had been prepared as planned because it was meant to be a very important moment for us. Thank you for taking the time to read my feedback. Best regards, Donald Jones
