The Green Room Hotel

We had such a nice stay! Rooms were clean & decorated to match the vibe of the hotel, very California-esque. Surfboards, e-bikes, on the wknds they leave coffee & donuts out in the common area. We took the e-bikes out one afternoon & rode around for hours exploring! Staff was friendly & helpful; We asked for a fan & it was provided. The hotel is so close to food, coffee & the beach. If we come back to Oceanside we will definitely be coming to stay here again!! Can’t say enough good things 🩵

First time at the green room hotel. Very pleased. Comfortable, great access to south oceanside, close to beach and multiple good food choices. Everything in the hotel was fresh and clean. Rooms are unique and modern. Functions were perfect. Cozy atmosphere with great amenities. Steve the owner was accessible and very helpful. My wife and I are new to South Oceanside and his recommendations were spot on. We had fun. The property is renovated throughout and that vintage feel of a motor lodge was upgraded to 21st century standards. We will stay here in the future. Midweek and multi-day stays are discounted. This makes it not only a great place to hang out but even more of a bargain. You would be hard pressed to find a place in North County San Diego as nice or as reasonable as the Green Room Hotel. We love visiting The Green Room! They have been super great to work with and really easy to get ahold with questions. The rooms are super clean, comfortable beds, quiet and have A/C! The location is amazing and the amenities are such a great ad-on like the hot tub/fire pit! We love staying here on our trips to Oceanside!

Really enjoyed our stay here. The room was cute and we felt at home. Loved the linens on the bed. It was super convenient to have the little fridge and microwave. Only complaints were the water does have a smell (not the hotel’s fault, just a heads up to know what to expect) and the air conditioning isn’t super strong. We visited during a heat wave, so this was sort of expected. We would definitely come back when it’s a bit cooler. Loved being close to Oceanside and Carlsbad. The outdoor shower was also nice to have.

What a great place to stay in one of the best neighborhoods in North County! You are so close to so many great restaurants, bars, and coffee shops in South Oceanside and Carlsbad. My wife and I loved the hot tub, bikes and free beach gear, and cozy rooms. Their rates are surprisingly affordable as well. Check in and check out was smooth. They don’t have a front desk or anything but you can call or text their number for a fast response.

The Green Room was just right for me. I love its boho-beach chic styling. The rooms are simple, yet just right. The outdoor sitting areas add so much charm and function! And the really important stuff: the mattress was very comfortable and I fell in love with the super thin, yet luxuriously soft sheets. Great variety of pillows, too! Just know that if you need super quiet for sleep, the evenings are a bit noisy due to the location. I found the location perfect for my needs, however! Oh! And free parking was a nice touch!

We were very happy with this find!! Flew into San Diego but stayed here and it was the best decision. So adorable, clean, quiet, safe, very aesthetic. The bed was comfy, AC worked well, hot water stayed hot! The jacuzzi, e-bikes and surfboards elevated this experience. The manager Dan was very responsive to any of our needs. They even provided breakfast and coffee on the wknd. Everything you need is there! Only comment for improvement would be better pillows and putting basic instructions by the jacuzzi. Awesome place! Lots to do in beautiful Oceanside and Carlsbad. We went to La Jolla many times. There’s a stop in Oceanside for the Amtrak Surfliner- we took this to LA.
