It's best known locally for drag shows and drag brunch, and over 400 Google reviews average 4.7, one of the higher ratings in the city. Love the boom! I gave food 3 stars because it's frozen bar food, but still edible haha. The staff and entertainers make this place my favorite stop on 39th. ANY show is worth seeing!

I love the Boom! I always have a great time there. I've seen several original plays and have been to Sunday Gospel Brunch more times than actual church so I hope it counts as a religion. Wick'd was HILARIOUS! It is easily ranked my favorite original show I've seen performed. The food is always delicious; I appreciate the smaller menu with limited choices. It allows them to deliver tasty and hot food to your table. The wait staff are always friendly and efficient. I feel the meal and drink prices are comparable to other restaurants in the area. The Boom is always a good time.
