Fry Bread House is a small Native American restaurant on North 7th Avenue in central Phoenix, run by a Tohono O'odham family and known for one thing: fry bread, served as savory tacos topped with beans, beef or green and red chile stews, or as dessert with honey, powdered sugar or chocolate and butter. It won a James Beard America's Classics award in 2012. It is a mainstream restaurant, open to everyone and not a gay venue. Prices are low and portions are big, so one fry bread is usually enough. It is a casual counter-style spot that gets busy at lunch. The Melrose District gay bars along 7th Avenue are nearby.

First time visiting this location, it's still has a very small seating area compared to their prior location down the street but we made it work, we just had to wait for others to finish and group the tables for a larger set. Staff is nice and bring your food once you order. No issues other than lack of seating. Food is always great!!
