P Town is a gay bar and dance club on Baum Boulevard in Bloomfield, near the Shadyside border. It's one of the longer-running gay bars outside downtown Pittsburgh. Expect a bar downstairs and a dance floor with DJs, plus regular drag and theme nights. The crowd is mostly men but mixed. It rates 4.3 from about 350 Google reviews. We don't have opening hours on file. Check ptownbarpgh.com for the weekly schedule and any cover charges, which usually apply only on show and party nights. Weekends are busiest. Baum Boulevard isn't much of a walking street at night, so most people come by car or rideshare.

My husband and I visited here for our anniversary trip to Pittsburgh. We love checking out LGBTQ spots when we visit cities. This location gave a fun and cozy bar experience. We came for karaoke night and had a great time. The drinks were very good and the bartenders were attentive and very friendly. I definitely recommend this location as a must if your visiting Pitt and are looking for LGBTQ spots.
