Tru by Hilton Port St. Lucie Tradition

I will never stay here again! My 7 year old daughter is special needs and is in a wheelchair. She had spinal surgery in November of 2023 and every 3-4 months we drive down to Florida(approx 22 hours with stops) to get the growing rods in her spine lengthened. We usually stay here but what they did to us was totally wrong and they did nothing to make it right. We drove down Wednesday and arrived in the evening. My wife booked an ada accessible room 1.5 months ago. We received a call after we were already on the way there and was told that room wasn't available because whoever was in it was extending their stay but they had another one just like it. We get there, go up to the room and its "hearing accessible", not "handicap accesibke". The front desk and manager did nothing other than offer an insincere apology for the inconvenience. My daughter eats strictly wirh a feeding tube and it was already a little past the time she needed to get changed and eat. To add more stress to our lives, we had to get online, earch other hotels nearby and pack everything back up, drive to another, and stay there. My wife called corporate today and they didnt attempt to make anything right

I would give this place zero stars if I could. Here is what happened today: I booked this hotel over a month ago. I have a daughter who is in a wheelchair. I always book a handicap accessible room. I have stayed at this location before and never had an issue until today. My family and I drove over 9 hours. I received a phone call from this hotel this morning saying that my room is not available because the person staying in this room is extending their stay. Okay. Even though I booked the room over a month ago. I booked with the hotel itself not a third party. I was told that it would be a tub and not a shower. Okay that is fine. We arrive to the hotel and go straight to the room. I open the door and it is a regular room. I said to my husband this is not going to work. My daughter needs space to move. So I went down stairs to straighten this out. The two ladies at the front desk were not helpful at all. I said this is ridiculous I booked over a month ago. They offered me a king bed there are three of us. I said no. I said I need a full refund. They said it will be there in 3 to 5 business days. If it is not I will be disputing the charges. They told me it is a hearing accessible room. A hearing accessible room for a person in a wheelchair?? Here we are 9 hours away with a daughter in a wheelchair scrambling to find a room. To top it off my daughter is on a strict feeding schedule and now she is going to be fed late because we need a place to stay. The two ladies never said we are sorry for the inconvenience. Here is a discount the next time you stay with us let us make this right...nothing. Needless to say I will be contacting corporate and I will be mentioning these two ladies and I will not be staying at this hotel again nor will I be recommending them to anyone. You saw me walk in with a child in a wheelchair you really thought a hearing accessible room would work? Absolutely ridiculous. I spoke with corporate which was even more of a joke. Since they gave me a refund, they will not do anything to make this right. I will not be staying at another hilton again. Ridiculous company.

Clean and comfortable

recently spent two nights. Rooms were clean, place was quiet at night, beds comfortable, staff helpful. within 1 mile to multiple restaurants and stores. Free parking . Very reasonably priced for that area. I'll be back soon

Comfortable beds, free breakfast but no microwave or coffee makers in the rooms.
