Carnival 是 Provincetown 夏季最熱鬧的同志週：八天活動集中在八月第三週，圍繞著單一服裝主題與一場遊行。Provincetown Business Guild 於 1978 年創辦此活動，最初僅為一天的盛事，旨在填補八月淡季的空檔，如今已擴展至席捲整座小鎮。
遊行免費開放，於週四下午舉行，約下午三點從 Harbor Hotel 附近出發，沿著 Commercial Street 穿過市中心一路延伸至 West End。人們一大早就在人行道上擺放椅子佔位。其餘時間則充滿派對：在 Boatslip 舉行的開幕派對、在 Crown & Anchor 舉辦的化妝舞會、茶舞（tea dance）以及變裝秀（drag show），大多需購票或收取入場費。民宿通常提前一年就預訂一空，且常規定最短住宿天數，從 Boston 出發的渡輪也常常滿載。
根據 Provincetown Independent 報導，Guild 估計 2023 年遊行時 Commercial Street 上聚集了 15 萬人。這是主辦方針對這座常住人口不足 4,000 人的小鎮所給出的數字，我們並未找到獨立的統計數據。第 48 屆 Carnival 於 2026 年 8 月 15 日至 22 日舉行，主題為 Deep Sea Disco，遊行安排在 8 月 20 日週四。當我們查證時，2027 年的主題與日期尚未公布。

Book a room months in advance — Carnival Week is the busiest stretch of the Ptown summer.
Stake out a spot on Commercial Street by early afternoon on Thursday; the parade route fills fast.
Leave the car in Truro or at the airport lot and use the shuttle — the West End is closed to traffic during the parade.
