Boardwalk Plaza Hotel

Awesome place

This is the most romantic get-a-way you'll ever enjoy. The Plaza has it all from ocean views, to a heated indoor pool, and the best restaurant you'll ever feast. The staff is always friendly and accommodating. The boardwalk, as the township is safe and secure. Just a couple blocks south on the boardwalk you'll discover Robonhood's Restaurant. Next to Victoria's Restaurant at the Plaza, a great place for breakfast.

Love this hotel. I wish it wasn’t so expensive though. But it’s right on the boardwalk, has its own restaurant, and there’s even a talking bird in the lobby.

Boardwalk Plaza Hotel in Rehoboth Beach in Delaware is a gem right on the boardwalk. The hotel is located on Olive St, a nice residential area that is safe and walkable to restaurants, shops and just a lovely area of homes. The hotel is very unique with numerous places to eat and drink in the hotel. Formal restaurant with a good selection, breakfast, brunch and dinner. There is a bar with different types of nightly entertainment, good cocktail selection. During the late morning afternoon a FRESH juice bar is on site that sits in an area accessible through the hotel or from the boardwalk. The juice is squeezed right in front of you, alcohol can be added upon request. Vending machine junk food & soda is on-site. Room service is also available. Indoor / outdoor canal type pool with a seating area on an outside patio oceanfront on the boardwalk with lounge chairs with umbrellas, great place to have a fresh juice and read or people watch. This area is gated only for guests. Another sitting area by the inside portion of the pool. The interior of the hotel and rooms is Victorian all the way. Old time phones that work. Four post beds, comfortable beds, clean bathrooms, quality towels and bedding, nice balcony with chairs. There are live birds in the lobby that are entertaining to watch. If a break is needed from the hustle of the summer crowd there is a roof top area with two hot tubes, lounge chairs, shuffle board overlooking the entire beach and ocean. Never crowded, one or two people. Peaceful for adults only that stay on the Concierge level. Morning paper at your door every morning. Beach umbrella service & beach towels are available free. Plenty of garage and outdoor parking. Great quick drive from Northern Virginia, about 2-2/12 hours. It’s worth the drive. I’ll be going back without a doubt. 👍🏼

The rooms are meant to look vintage which is nice and nostalgic. I do have issues when bedding has stains though. Please inspect bedding after putting it on. The location is perfect. Hotel was cozy with the exception of stained bedding.

We came here for our 25th anniversary, and will be completing our 50th anniversary stay tomorrow. It is an AWESOME retreat from one's usual routine. Highly recommend this beautiful hotel!

We had such a great family vacation here. Our oceanfront suite had incredible views, and the room itself was really nice and clean! What impressed us most was how welcoming the hotel felt for everyone. Kids (age 7 and 8) were greeted with a cute little sand bucket, shovel, beach ball etc. There are also a TON of beach toys (including boogie boards) that the kids can use and return once they are finished. They loved everything from the balcony to the elevator. My mom who uses a walker felt comfortable getting around the property, and hasn’t stopped talking about the trip since we left. The heated indoor/outdoor pool was a hit for everyone. If you are traveling to Rehoboth with a multi-generational group, this is the place to stay!

You'll enjoy yourself if you book here, but expect to pay around $460 per night for the room. Right on the boardwalk, steps from the beach, beach towel service, small refrigerator, and a Keurig coffee pot. There's also laundry service, the room includes his and her bathrobes. The towels are luxurious, soft and sumptuous. The pillows and sheets are extremely clean, and the bedding is plush. Your stay includes a free parking space. The restaurant next door, Victoria's, serves absolutely delicious food. There's so many great amenities to this place I can't name them all. Oh they also offer a discount if you want beach chairs and beach umbrellas, ask the front desk. It was a great vacation.

Lovely hotel with friendly attentive staff. However, we did experience a problem with our first room. The sofa bed would not lay flat. The head of the bed was at a 30 degree angle. First, we waited for maintenance. He couldn’t fix it. Then, the manager told me that’s just how sofa beds are and to lay with our feet at the head of the bed. I told him that was unacceptable and we finally got a new room. That took nearly two hours to resolve and we received no assistance moving rooms. My only other issue with this hotel was how rudely they treated their hired musician. Apparently, one customer (who I hear may have been the owner) complained and the musician was asked to leave. My problem with this was not only was it rude, 20-30 other guests were enjoying his performance. My family went to the restaurant solely to hear him play, only for him to be asked to leave. I found it odd the request of one rude guest (or owner) would outweigh the many other guests who wanted to hear him perform.
