Lavender Library, Archives & Cultural Exchange

I love this place so much! I have been by a few times, and really appreciate that masks are required at events. It's quite difficult participating in queer life as covid rages on, and as someone living in a disabled and immunocompromised household. Nonetheless, the Lavender Library makes that possible for my family and I. I'm truly so grateful that this space exists and for the work everyone puts in to keep the space alive and accessible.

The sweetest of staff, plus they do so much in the community.

It was indescribable to find somewhere that's not only queer-friendly, but PRO-queer! With the currently political climate there's not a lot of public spaces where I (and other lgbtq+ people) can feel safe and at ease, the Lavender Library was such a breath of fresh air. They have pretty much any queer-themed book you could imagine, and right when you walk in, you're greeted with dozens of flyers and advertisements for resources available to the lgbtq+ community. I definitely reccomend coming to check it out ✨
