The Lookout

The Lookout is a gay bar at 3600 16th Street, on the corner of 16th and Market in the Castro. Its open balcony over the intersection is its best-known feature. It's one of the neighbourhood's busier bars, with themed nights, drag and DJ-driven weekends, and a small dance floor. It has a 4.3 rating from more than 500 Google reviews. The balcony fills up early on sunny afternoons and on weekend evenings. The rest of the Castro's bars are within a couple of blocks, so it's an easy starting point for a night out.
