Chill spot, good prices, great food! The bread on my HEC was outta this world soft!

Amazing! This sandwich shop is worth a detour! Get a cheesesteak … but anything works. Homemade hot sauce is phenomenal.

If you like bread, you will love Newkirks. I was super excited to try a Bacon Egg Cheese. Instant disappointment when I got the sandwich. Super thin layer of the egg and bacon, super thick layer of bread. Probably 90% bread by volume. Who makes a hearty breaky sando in SF?

Just had lunch here today with a friend. $20 for a sandwich and drink, but it was the BEST pastrami sandwich I've had in a long time! Customer service was excellent. I asked for a cup of ice with my soda, a take home bag, and asked a few questions since this was my first visit, and everyone working there was very helpful and welcoming. It's a small place, but it was comfortable and clean. I'll be back.
