Human Rights Campaign Action Center & Store

The Human Rights Campaign Action Center and Store is the national LGBTQ rights group's shop on Castro Street. It occupies 575 Castro, the former site of Harvey Milk's Castro Camera, which was his shop and campaign base in the 1970s. Inside you'll find HRC-branded clothing and gifts, including the blue-and-yellow equals logo, plus information on the organisation's current campaigns. It's open daily from 11:00: until 19:00 on weekdays, 20:00 on Saturday and 18:00 on Sunday. Look for the Milk tribute and mural that mark the building's history. It's a short walk from the Castro Muni station and Harvey Milk Plaza.
