Flan Factory - Ybor

What an amazing place. They have a rotating flan flavor and all the ones I have tried are amazing. Went for dinner and again for breakfast several days later and not sure which was better. Highly recommend this to anyone in the area. The folks serving us were so nice and the prices were very fair.

Went here as I was craving a Cuban sandwich. Now, since this place is known for their flans, I couldn't leave without trying one. Let me tell you, they did not dissapoint! The Tampeño is enough to satisfy big appetites and the meat is as juicy and flavorful as it can get. Topped with the crunchyness of the bread, it was amazing. For the flan I picked the guava flavored. Guava tends to be extra sweet so I was worried that the flavor would be too much to handle, but boy was I wrong! It was very creamy with just the right amount of guava to be felt but not overpowering. I definitely recommend this place.

My wife and I were in Tampa to catch a cruise and needed some dinner. The Flan Factory was just down the street from our hotel, so we decided to try it out. This was an amazing idea! Looking at the menu beforehand, we saw what we wanted and headed out. Seeing a very nondescript building, we knew it was going to be a great place. When we walked in, we were greeted with an amazing smile and pleasant demeanor. We perused the menu again and decided on the Island Boy sandwich and the Arroz Frito bowl with chicken. We also got some flan, as it is a flan place and it is made in house, so we can't go wrong. We got the food back to our hotel and boy was it tasty! The sandwich was chock full of delicious coconut shrimp and the bread was perfectly crusty. The bowl was balanced and tasty! Finally, the flan was amazing. It was jiggly and creamy, just like a flan should be. Overall, this is an amazing restaurant and you should go!
