This is a secret of the epic proportions! Tucson offers space for the curious mind and heart. After walking I discovered this bookstore and what an absolute treat!!! The layout, the ataff, the selection!!!!! Local author's and artisans with work available. It was an amazing experience and a pure delight to peruse. A welcoming atmosphere just fantastic! Antigone Books is one of those Tucson institutions that makes shopping local feel special. I love wandering through an independent bookstore where there are unexpected finds, thoughtful recommendations and books you might not necessarily discover at a big chain. The combination of books, gifts, cards and locally connected items makes it such a fun place to browse. There is a warmth and personality here that simply cannot be replicated by a large retailer. Tucson is lucky to have a bookstore like this!

Fun and quirky bookshop, bigger than you’d expect. I got a really cute and fun pair of chili pepper earrings from here, so they’re full to the brim with not just books but locally crafted jewelry and Knick knacks!
