Us Helping Us

Us Helping Us, People Into Living is a Washington DC nonprofit that began in the 1980s as a support group for Black gay men living with HIV. It is a community organisation, not a social venue. Today it provides HIV and STI testing, PrEP and prevention services, case management, support groups and wellness programmes focused on Black gay, bisexual and same-gender-loving men, along with the wider community. The office is on Georgia Avenue NW in the Park View and Petworth area, near the Georgia Ave-Petworth Metro stop. Visitors who need testing or a referral while in DC can call ahead; check the website for current walk-in hours and programmes.
