Pride Winston-Salem (PrideWS)

Pride Winston-Salem (PrideWS) is the volunteer nonprofit that runs the city's Pride festival and parade each June in the Downtown Arts District. The parade runs along Fourth Street at 11am and the festival fills Trade Street from 10am to 5pm, with vendors, food trucks, a music stage and a drag stage; entry is free. Recent editions were on Saturday 14 June 2025 and Saturday 13 June 2026, when WFDD reported more than 200 vendors and 21 food trucks. PrideWS also holds smaller events through the year, such as the Shamrock Soiree at Vintage Sofa Bar in March 2026. The 2027 date had not been announced at the time of writing; check pridews.org.
