Pride Party "Wear It Purple

Pomona & District Community House is presenting their annual community Pride event at Majestic Theatre Pomona. Wear it Purple Day is Friday 28 August and in celebration of this day, on the 15th of August we will celebrate with ‘Pride Party – Wear It Purple’ a celebration of inclusion, connection and community spirit. The event brings together LGBTQIA+SB people, families, friends and allies in a welcoming space that encourages authenticity, visibility and belonging. Free event. Bookings essential.

This is an all-ages dance party from 7pm – 9pm.  The doors and bar open at 6pm with refreshments and light snacks available. The event starts at 7pm.

Through music, dance and shared celebration, we aim to foster a community where diversity is embraced, and everyone feels safe to be themselves. ‘Pride Party- Wear It Purple’ is also an opportunity to raise awareness for the ‘Wear It Purple’ campaign- a national day of supporting rainbow young people and helping to create safer, more inclusive and empowering environments for LGBTQIA+SB youth.
